Tim Roth blev berusad med Quentin Tarantino – fick roll i ”Reservoir Dogs”

Den brittiske skådespelaren Tim Roth avslöjar hur han fick rollen som "Mr. Orange" i Quentin Tarantinos klassiska film "Reservoir Dogs".

Tim Roth är lite av en favorit hos Quentin Tarantino. Han har medverkat i tre av stjärnregissörens filmer och slog igenom med Reservoir Dogs, Tarantinos genombrottsfilm. I en intervju med Entertainment Weekly avslöjar den brittiske skådespelaren att han först inte ville läsa för rollen som Mr. Orange eftersom han ”suger” på auditions. Lösningen blev då att bli berusad tillsammans med Tarantino och därefter läsa manuset.

I intervjun sade han bland annat följande om hur han fick rollen:

"Me and Quentin went to a pub where I lived and I got him to give me a ride, beacuse I couldn't drive. Then we had some more, and then he started to write the script on beer mats. And then we went to a 7-Eleven and got more beer, went back to my flat and started to read the entire script. We read every part in it for about ten times because we got hammered. And that's how I got the job. Basically he got me drunk."
